ESAIL Bordeaux campus

Strongly focused on sustainability, the materials library showcases over 5,000 manufacturers and 10,000 products, highlighting traditional, bio-sourced, and innovative materials.

The digital materials library is regularly updated with contributions from partner managers and teachers. It is entirely managed by the campus's materials library team, which updates it twice a year.

A shuttle bus (Line 30) connects Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport to Gare Saint-Jean train station in about 30 minutes.
From there, take tram line D towards Hippodrome and get off at Quinconces. Then take tram line B towards Cité du Vin and get off at Cité du Vin. The campus is about a 10-minute walk from there.

You can also reach the campus by bus: take Line 1 towards Gare Saint-Jean and get off at Gambetta. Then, take Line 4 towards Saint-Louis and get off at Lewis Brown, just a few minutes’ walk from the Bordeaux campus.

The main railway station, Bordeaux Saint-Jean, offers easy connections to many major French cities, including Paris in just two hours by high-speed train (TGV).
From the station, take tram line D towards Hippodrome and get off at Quinconces.
Then, take tram line B towards Cité du Vin and get off at Cité du Vin.
The campus is located about a 10-minute walk from the tram stop.

Public transport in Bordeaux, operated by TBM, is the easiest way to get around the city.
A single ticket, costing €1.70, gives you access to the entire network of buses, trams, and even the Bat³ river shuttle.

Cycling is also one of the most popular ways to get around Bordeaux. You can easily rent a V3 self-service bike from any of the 172 stations across the city — a practical, eco-friendly, and enjoyable way to explore Bordeaux.
