Gender equality

In 2019, the French law on the freedom to choose your professional future, created the professional gender equality index.

Calculated over 12 consecutive months, it takes into account five indicators relating to pay gaps and pay rises.

Discrimination and sexism

A campaign for tolerance on all our campuses. OBJECTIVE: campaign to respect each person’s individual freedoms across all our campuses. Discrimination is the unfair treatment of the person discriminated against. This can take various forms but is never acceptable.

COMMITMENT: Defend diversity and promote tolerance in our everyday activities across all HEP campuses in France and abroad to ensure the upholding of fundamental values such as respecting diversity, freedom of lifestyle choices (religion, sexual orientation, gender) and equal employment opportunities (pay, equity, career development).

ACTIONS: implementation of awareness-raising actions for learners and colleagues.

Disability

A charter for continuous improvement. OBJECTIVE: ensure all HEP campuses and training courses are accessible to people with all types of disabilities: physical, psychological, cognitive, visual, hearing etc.

COMMITMENT: implement personalised education and learning plans for people with disabilities. Every single student is included, supported and encouraged on a daily basis.

ACTIONS: awareness-raising for teaching staff, students and administrative staff to promote personal and professional fulfilment. Support from dedicated staff members for the duration of study, through to joining the workforce. Implementation of a “Charter for improving the inclusion of people with disabilities.”

Today, over 70 students with disabilities are currently studying on HEP campuses.

Quality

Within the Compétences et Développement network, the Internal Auditing and Quality division is responsible for developing, optimising and formalising processes in line with the network’s strategic objectives, though a shared Quality Management System which pools good practices from all schools and coordinates the continuous improvement process.

Its aim is to ensure satisfaction for all stakeholders through the services and organisation in place in the schools.

In May 2021, the legal entities which deploy the ESAIL’s activities (Compétences Commerce et International and AIPF), were awarded the national quality certification QUALIOPI for the following skills development actions:

Actions to recognise prior learning and experience

As part of this process, the Internal Auditing and Quality division guarantees that the quality criteria set out in the national quality guidelines are fully met.
